Urban Design is the discipline of designing the way groups of buildings interact with each other and their environment. It can involve a number of disciplines such as architecture, master planning, landscape and engineering. As architects we believe we are ideally placed to lead multi-disciplinary teams with the goal of developing high quality design led solutions. Our team have significant personal experience of this discipline and have worked on numerous projects of various types. Whilst with his previous practice Philip Wootton has worked on the development of Campus Master Plans for Alsager School, Staffordshire University, Keele University, Stafford College and Tamworth and Lichfield College. Whilst with his previous practice he also led the team that delivered the North Shelton Housing Renewal Master plan for the North Staffs Regeneration Partnership and a short listed International competition entry for the City of Stoke-on-Trent. Philip is also a board member of Urban Vision North Staffordshire which is an Architecture Centre that promotes excellence in the design of the built environment.

Keith Chidlow and David Hancock both have significant experience in the design of housing layouts for both the private and public sectors including competition success and award winning work. Currently the practice is at the early stages of assisting various bodies with Master Plans.
